Self-publishing is harder most new authors imagine. The editing, the cover, the formatting, the distribution. . . it’s a lot to figure out on your own. It feels like one wrong step will cost you time, money, and readers. Or, worse, lead you into the hands of a predatory vanity press who wants to take advantage of you.
That’s where I come in.
I’m Ellis “E” Prybylski. I’ve been in publishing since 2008 as an editor, an indie book publisher, and an author myself. I built Insomnia Self-Publishing Services because I how to get book from manuscript to market, and how overwhelming it can be when you’re doing it without a guide.
You don’t have to figure this out alone. I’ve got your back.

I work with you. No, really, whatever stage of your career you are in, I can accommodate you. I’ve worked with first-time authors and bestsellers over my nearly twenty-year career. If you need help or a safe harbor for your books, I’m here to help. And if I’m not the right fit? I’ll do what I can to help you find someone who is.
From book coaching, to editing, to typesetting, to cover design, and distribution assistance, I offer every service needed to take a book from idea to bookshelves. I even have connections to industry-leading marketers who can help your book find its audience when you’re ready for it.
I am neurodivergent, queer, trans, and disabled. Diversity makes our stories, and our world, richer. I excel in working with authors from underrepresented communities and edit in a way that celebrates your identity rather than erasing it. Your unique story deserves to be told.
